Meet Kodiak

Our History

Kodiak Marketing, LLC was officially formed on May 25, 2017. Kodiak was started by Marcus W. Howard following the growing requests for marketing services. Originally operating under the name of MWH Marketing Solutions in 2016, Howard started to provide marketing services upon request. As requests grew, the need to form a real marketing company was obvious, and plans were started to do so.

At the beginning of operation the plan for Kodiak was to provide marketing evaluations and suggestions for clients to improve upon existing marketing plans. By the official forming in May, Kodiak had already expanded services to include branding evaluations, digital marketing evaluations, and professional photography. Current offerings from Kodiak have now expanded into marketing material design and production, brand management, web design and development, videography, social media assistance, web management, and education on marketing and branding.

In the future, Kodiak is looking to expand further into brand development and marketing material design. The growing web design and social media services are also a quickly growing segment of our company. With a quickly growing network of artists, producers, and other industry professionals, Kodiak is eagerly anticipating expansion in the future and with it the ability to offer more products and services to our valued customers. Our Owner – Marcus W. Howard

Marcus W. Howard was born and raised in Clearwater, FL and comes from a long line of entrepreneurs. His parents own and operate a swimming pool service company in Pinellas County, FL, which Marcus has been involved with during and after college. In 2009, Marcus began attending the University of West Florida and graduated with a BSBA in Comprehensive Marketing in 2012. After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Marcus began his Master of Business Administration program, from which he graduated in 2014. Following his Master’s  program, Marcus moved back to the Tampa Bay area and became more involved with his family’s business, while working occasional marketing requests from friends. After completing a major marketing evaluation for a local private school, Marcus decided to officially start a marketing company focusing on his favorite areas, mainly branding, marketing material design, and photography.
